Top 3 Skincare Tips
Treating your skin doesn't need to be complicated. Depending on what you read, who you speak to or come across on social media, skincare regimes could range from a 5-step process to using a myriad of products to get that glowing skin.
I've always been someone who lived a simple life and find ways to avoid over-engineering things. And when WENVIA was created, I was intentional with the formulations, the ingredients and simplifying skincare in general.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are a number of wonderful products out there - however, from my perspective, simple is best. So why not focus on the basics and essentials for getting clean, clear and nourishing skin.
Here are my 3 skincare tips that have worked for me and many other customers:
TIP #1
Cleanse Morning and Evening
It is important to cleanse the skin during the day and evening as dirt, impurities and/or makeup residue will build-up on the skin over the course of the day. By removing these impurities, you reduce the chances of break outs and other skin problems.
Regular facial cleansing is also essential for maintaining a healthy amount of moisture in the skin. Dehydrated skin may appear rough, wrinkled and aged. Cleansing also aids in the management of the skin's pH levels, allowing for enough water and product retention for proper skin hydration.
Our Flawless or Detox soap bars are great options. They provide a gentle cleansing experience with the added benefit of tea tree essential oil that is said to contain antimicrobial, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties to help rid the skin of impurities.
How to Use Soap Bars As a Facial Cleanser?
- Wet face with warm water
- Lather soap bar in hands
- Apply the soap lather to your face in a gentle, circular motion, avoiding eye area
- Let the soap sit on face for 1-2 minutes
- Rinse off with warm water
TIP #2
Exfoliate 2-3 Times a Week
Exfoliation is essential for healthy skin. Your complexion will appear more luminous after buffing away built-up dead surface skin cells. When you exfoliate the skin, this encourages cellular renewal, smooth skin texture and an even complexion.
Keep in mind, however, that if your skin appears dull, the last thing you want to do is scrub vigorously. This is potentially harmful to your skin and will not produce the desired outcomes. It is advised to exfoliate 2-3 times a week depending on your skin's sensitivity.
WENVIA offers a seasonal luxurious emulsified sugar scrubs that when introduced to water, it transforms to a lotion-like texture. Paired with our luxurious hand lotion, this is the perfect duo to soft, smooth skin.
TIP #3
Moisturize Twice a Day
This crucial step ensures more precise results, effective formulas, and customizability. Different serums and oils can provide essential vitamins and nutrients to treat your skin.
Vitamin enriched and antioxidant-infused serums and oils can protect, improve and rejuvenate your skin. You can never be too young to start using a serum, and because of its high concentration and strength, serums are the greatest approach to treating specific skin conditions.
The essential oil blend that was designed for our Rose Glow Facial Serum is packed with a number of benefits for any skin type. Frankincense Essential Oil is one of the star ingredients in this serum as it helps soothe irritated skin, has cell-renewing properties and is said to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles making the skin look youthful and fresh.
BONUS TIP: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate
It's just as important to know what we put on our body as well as in our body. What we consume will have a direct impact on our outward appearance.
Drinking water has so many benefits to our overall health - but specifically for our skin, it can:
- Moisturize
- Improve complexion
- Slow aging
- Reduce wrinkles
- Clear acne
- Flush out toxins
You certainly can't go wrong with that!
Take these skincare tips into action to give yourself the best and healthiest skin yet.
